Upper Wharfedale
Upper Wharfedale is a National Trust owned area in the Yorkshire

Wharfe; stretching between the river’s source and the village of
Abingdon. As with a large portion of the Dales, it is dominated by
it’s limestone scenery with white outcrops scattering the surrounding
countryside. Also found in Upper Wharfedale is Buckden Pike (702

commemorate five Polish airmen of the Royal Air Force who died when
they crashed a bomber during the second world war in 1942.
