Set in the agricultural heartlands of the Midlands the hamlet of Whiston is to be found in Staffordshire, lying midway between Stoke and Ashbourne. It is relatively close to the M6 and a short distance from the Peak District National Park and other attractions such as Alton Towers, and the country houses of Sudbury House, Chatsworth and Kedleston Hall. Whiston itself boasts its own hall – Whiston Hall built in the 19th century as a manor house with many excellent features retained and today surrounded by an eighteen hole golf course. Its quiet location and ease of access make this a popular location for those who enjoy the peace and tranquillity that Whiston has to offer.
