The Barlaston Wassail, Staffordshire
Takes place on New Year's Eve at 9.30pm to midnight. A procession and verse-saying to honour local famous ANglo-Saxons over the Downs Banks, in association with the National Trust. Please insert this:- This is Britain's unique wassail. The 2013 event will be taking place round the village of Barlaston, and not over the Downs Banks. Still starting at 9.30pm on the village green.
