Wool is a pleasant rural village near the southern bank of the Frome River, in the County of Dorset, home to just over four thousand people. There is a mix of old, and new houses with a peppering of thatched cottages. The village is home to an impressive 17th Century Manor House that inspired Thomas Hardy to place Tess of The D'urbervilles there on her honeymoon, the village lies close to Bindon Abbey which was burnt down in the 17th Century, there's a 16th Century stone bridge, and a Medieval church, or there are always the shops and pubs to enjoy.
