The Carriage House is a five star holiday cottage with high quality furnishings and comfort. It has been designed to provide every thing you need to make your holiday as enjoyable and easy as possible. It`s rural location set in a quiet village is surrounded by footpath walks and country lanes ideal for cycling. There are bird watching hides at Druridge Bay and you might see a red squirrel or Herron down by the Ford. The children are well catered for at the newly renovated play area, and you can watch the Ulgham Cricket Team play at home on their field or maybe take in a game of tennis at the local court (tennis raquets are available). Ulgham Village is only 5 mins. away from the beach where you can enjoy 6.5 miles of golden sand. It`s central location means that you can visit 40 castles, stately homes and museums all within 40 minutes drive. Two ensuite bedrooms, the master bedroom has a king size sleigh bed and a jacuzzi in the corner bath. The twin bedded room can be zipped into a super king bed of required with its own full size bathroom. The Living / dining room is spacious open plan with leather suites, flat screen TV, DVD player digital satelite, dining table for 6 and a real log fire. The Kitchen is fully fitted wood units with electric fan assisted oven & gas hob, dishwasher, under counter fridge, freezer, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, washing machine & dryer, pots, pans, iron, ironing board, hair dryer and clothes drying airer. All bedlinen, T-towels & dishwasher tablets are free. There is plenty of free parking immediately adjacent to the house. Facilities for walkers & cyclists. The relaxing Hot Tub is fabulous after a walk along the beach or a visit to a Alnwick Gardens or Cragside estate. There are a number of farm shops and an ice cream parlour close by. Morpeth Town has a number of fine restaurants and take aways - pizza, indian, chinese deliveries are available.
