The Montgomery Canal on the Mid Wales/Shropshire border is 35 miles long and meanders through some of the most picturesque scenery in Britain. Ideal for walkers and small boats, fishermen and nature lovers. Many canalside improvements recently including a sculpture trail, lots of new seats and very unusual information boards. Horsedrawn holiday boat trips, group trips for the disabled and short public trips all available. New circular walks now on the website. Canadian styled canoes with equipment, available to borrow for use on the canal.
