WITHIN two and half hours of London and Manchester and hidden down a long drive, our three 5 Star, award-winning, luxury cottages lie among cider orchards a few hundred yards from an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. This former farmstead occupies one of Herefordshire's most charming spots and is set within nearly twenty acres of grounds.

The Woodhouse (sleeps 7-9) is a Grade II Listed, part-moated medieval hall-house, Barn Croft (sleeps 6) was a calfhouse and barn, and The Wainhouse (sleeps 2) stored wagons. All the cottages are furnished to a very high standard. The private gardens of each are south-facing and sunny, with hardwood garden furniture and barbecues provided; Barn Croft overlooks the moat with its water-lilies and yellow and blue irises. The water is home to carp and from time to time, herons and kingfishers stop by for lunch.

The cottages are owned by David and Sue Furnival, who live on site and guests are greeted on arrival by an award-winning welcome basket of Herefordshire and local produce. Guests also enjoy pure spring water from our well. Ledbury, just two miles away, is a fantastic place to explore the Three Counties of Herefordshire, Worcestershire and Gloucestershire. The Cotswolds are nearby as are the Malvern Hills and the Marches. Tour the black and white villages of Eardisley, Pembridge and Eardisland or visit the towns home to some of England's best known poets: Dymock - home of the Dymock poets or Ledbury, home to John Masefield, Elizabeth Barrett-Browning and William Langland.

For a peaceful retreat and rural haven, we look forward to welcoming you to the Woodhouse Farm.
