The Tufton Arms Hotel, a family run, recently refurbished Victorian
coaching inn located in the centre of the medieval market town of Appleby.
Enjoy the luxury of your bedroom with rooms ranging from large suites to
elegant single rooms. Most rooms having been recently refurnished including
stunning italian bathrooms.
Dinner is taken in the elegant Conservatory Restaurant, set overlooking the
cobbled mews courtyard. The superb quality of the food is complimented by a
200 bin award winning wine list. With many wines being personally imported.
Three Conference and Function Suites, elegantly furnished to retain the
Hotels character and ambience offer an ideal venue for business or functions
and the Hotel is licenced for weddings.
Sporting breaks are a speciality of the Hotel offering good quality Wild Brown Trout and Salmon fishing on the River Eden, with tuition if required. Country sports of shooting, golf, canooing, fell walking, cycling, hunting, and stalking.
