Set on the seemingly unpromising site of an old gravel pit, the hotel stands in its own acre of secluded wooded gardens, rich in wildlife, in the picturesque village of Shipdham. Shipdham itself has an interesting church, quaint cottages and is the ideal central base for exploring the varied attractions of forest, coast and history that are Norfolk's rich legacy.

The bedrooms are furnished on simple modern lines and have crisp linen, fluffy towels, tea & coffee making equipment, complimentary toiletries and TV/radios. Ensuites have showers and 'Economy' rooms a hand basin in each with shared bathroom facilities. Most rooms have double beds but no extra charge is made for single occupancy and family/twin rooms are also available.

With freshly cooked food in both Brasserie and Bar and a warm welcome from your hosts , Pound Green Hotel is the ideal base for business and leisure.
