The Smiddy House and Russell’s Bistro is situated in Spean Bridge, a few miles from Fort William in the heart of the Scottish Highlands.
Surrounded by magnificent scenery and close to the famous Commando Monument, this 4 star luxury guest house with its excellent bistro has been extensively refurbished over the last year and offers a high standard of accommodation with many added touches, giving a relaxing home from home atmosphere.
Chef/Proprietor Glen Russell has established a reputation for excellent food and a high standard of service in the bistro, and it has become a favourite eating place for locals and visitors alike.
Next door is the Old Smiddy, an attractive self catering cottage with accommodation for up to six people. Originally built for the village blacksmith, the Old Smiddy is now fully restored and furnished to a very high standard. It too is graded 4 stars by VisitScotland.
