St Benedict's Byre was built approximately 120 years ago and was used as a milking parlour until 1999 when it was converted to become the beautiful property it is today. One part of the property was used for housing the cattle in bad weather and the rest was the parlour itself.

St Benedict's Byre benefits from an expansive well maintained garden which guests are more than welcome to utilise. The garden backs onto fields resulting in a scenic countryside view in all directions.

Within a short distance of St Benedicts Byre you will find numerous National Heritage sites including, Bodiam Castle, Battle Abbey, Sissinghurst Castle and Scotney Castle to name just a few. More information and links to relevant websites can be found in the menu at the top of the page.

As well as the variety of peaceful countryside activities London is a stones throw away, with regular public transport links, so if you want to head into the city why not stay with us in the countryside instead of hectic city accommodation.
