Open all year and is in the perfect location for guests wishing to tour all of Cornwall. We are just a short drive from the north and south coasts and are well placed for picturesque fishing villlages, Eden Project and sandy beaches. The wild beauty of Bodmin Moor is available from the doorstep, complete with a wealth of natural flora and fauna to be observed while traversing the excellent walking terrain. Set in beautiful and peaceful surroundings, guests can take a dip in the pool, or choose to roam the gardens and woodland. Cottage guests can enjoy a barbecue on the patio and relax on the sun loungers on their lawn. Children and dogs are welcome at Mount Pleasant. A short drive from Mount Pleasant is the amazing Eden Project, home to the world’s largest greenhouses. Currently there are two conservatories, one a majestic rainforest cathedral; The Humid Tropics Biome, the other host to the fruits, plants and flowers of the Mediterranean type regions; The Warm Temperate Biome. They form a majestic backdrop to the Outdoor Landscape; interlocking terraces telling the story of plants that have changed the world, started wars, halted epidemics, inspired artists, clothed, fed and sheltered us and which might be crucial to our future. In each cottage there's a cooker, microwave and a fridge with ice box, plus cutlery, crockery, pots, pans and utensils, but we also have a comprehensive list of places to eat out, should you prefer that option! In addition there is a laundry room, games room and covered, heated swimming pool for guests to enjoy, and well behaved dogs are welcome, but must be kept on a lead in the grounds. Lying amidst ten acres of grounds, the cottages and bed and breakfast guests can use the heated indoor swimming pool (Easter to September) and the games room.
