A completely self contained wing of the house gives us flexibility to offer guests the opportunity to either visit us on self catered (up to 6 adults + 2 children) or Bed and Breakfast basis (B&B not available in high season periods). Fishing available at additional cost. As well as 3 ensuite bedrooms the property has a comfortably furnished sitting room with an open fireplace, 2 large sofas’, armchair and TV & DVD. A fully equipped kitchen/dining room with a table that seats 6. Door from here leads to south facing patio area. Patio area has a table and 6 chairs. Kitchen has a washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, oven, hob and grill. WiFi is available throughout the property. Guests are welcome to enjoy our walled garden. A door within the thatched wall leads directly to the churchyard next door and is the first stop for many walks. The house is close to the River Avon and has access to the private fishing on the river (at an additional charge of £50 per person). The local village pub, which serves good food, is a 2 minute walk from the house. There are many local tourist attractions including Stonehenge, Avebury, Salisbury Cathedral and Longleat. The historic cities of Salisbury and Marlborough, plus the market towns of Devizes and Pewsey, are all within a 10-20 minute drive. See our ‘things to do’ page for more detail. We are also conveniently located if you are looking for a stopover near the A303.
