Claire Millhouse is a fantastic dentist and a lovely lady.As a family we were looked after well at Maple Lea.My only negative thing was that when we left for Scotland that i did not get to say cheerio to claire. The receptionist when i phoned to say we were moving just said right ok and put the phone down. Perhaps a little training on how to say goodbye nicely might not go amiss. mike smith

A great friendly practice, I had a complicated extraction which involved mouth surgery, this was painless and I recovered in no time at all, my treatment aftercare was followed up by the dental nurse and the dentist herself. We as a family are very happy with the service we recieve from Maple Lea. As for the previous commment re: Driving a Porsche, I would be worried if my Dentist drove a Skoda. Thank you Maple.

I had an excellent NHS dentist who looked after my teeth and my 2 children. He moved on, and we had a succession of what I can only describe as appalling dentists. One in particular caused me to lose a tooth due to negligent treatment, at great cost and pain to me. My son broke a front tooth and was told he would have to wait 3 weeks for an emergency appointment. Customer care at these NHS surgeries was dreadful. Luckily we moved to Maple Lea, where we have been greeted and treated extremely well. The staff are always friendly, helpful, and try to accommodate our requirements. As for cost, well, considering the training, skill and what they have to do, I have no objection at all. Put it into perspective, how much do you pay for car, food and drink, holidays etc etc? I think care of your teeth is worth paying for. I have no hesitation in recommending Maple Lea dental practice. Nancy, Tom and Sam Charman

I have to agree with the other reviews. I have been, with my family going there for over 10 years, after some less than great customer service I decided to have a hygenists elsewhere. I then discovered that I had an amalgam filling for which I paid for composite and then after paying another dentist for a checkup found that I do not the three fillings that I was told I do need. There is a lot about the cash and not a lot about the service. In fact I would go as far to say that treatments are false. Please look elsewhere, in my opinion.

if you want to pay for the Partner's Porsche then this is the practice for you. It is all about the money! I have been going to Maple Lea for over twenty years; and my partner for forty; but I have this week been 'invited to take my business elsewhere' as i raised some issues that they did not wish to discuss. Such a shame that their standards have fallen so far.

These guys are great, gentle, caring and understand that people don't always want to be there! Staff are super friendly and the dentist was really nice and clearly good at what she does. Would thoroughly recommend this place.

I found my treatment exceptionally good, the dentist was very professional, caring and gentle. Explained everything to me as we went along. I would recommend this surgery.

This dental practise, like many others, no longer wants to treat NHS patients. While I was treated privately here, my children were treated on the NHS. When I rang to make an appointment for my children I was told that they could only be seen privately now because I had not made an appointment for them in the previous 6 months. This had never been a condition of treatment before nor had they told me this at previous appointments, it was an excuse. I am uncomfortable with the dishonesty and my whole family are now being treated privately elsewhere.
