Just to say what a great time we had at Walker Ground and we'll be recommending it to all our friends. The best B&B we've stayed at, fantastic accommodation and many thanks to Dougie and Andrea for being the perfect hosts. We can't wait to come back again next year.

Wonderful rooms very spacious and clean. Great breakfast - nothing was too much trouble. The village is quaint only a short walk away with good pub food. Had a lovely 3 day break well worth it.

We've been visiting the Lake District for 15 years or so and this is the best B&B we have tried. Dougie and Andrea are perfect hosts, always helpful but never intrusive. We very much enjoyed our stay in this lovely house and we will be back again in the spring.

Having recently stayed at the Devonshire Arms at Bolton Abbey, in our opinion the room, superking size bed and bathroom were on a par, if not better at Walkerground - fantastic 5* accommodation at a very reasonable rate. Thank you Dougie and Andrea for a relaxing break, we look forward to making a return visit.

Fabulous spacious and spotless room and ensuite. Excellent breakfasts. Recommend walks to Tarn Hows and Latterbarrow. Enjoyed excellent meals at the King's Arms and the Queen's Head. Book a table in the restaurant at the Queen's Head and you won't be disappointed.
