Good Points: Convenient free car parking, good breakfast, good bed, good shower, polite staff, provided iron on request. Bad Points: Smelly bathroom, dirty toilet, noise & vibration (but is a very old building). General review: Convenient location for wedding, pretty town, characterful building, despite negative points was reasonable value. Basic improvements to cleanliness & decoration would have improved our stay.

Good Points: Staff were polite and helpful. Bad Points: Hotel is looking tired, lots of areas that need refurbishment, some bad attempts at repair. General review: The area is expensive to stay in so the hotel gets away with prices that are higher than the standard it provides. I have stayed in other areas of the country that give you more for your money and provide a better standard of accommodation.

Good Points: Perfect location in the centre of Faringdon. Bad Points: Would be noisy if I was wanting an early night but was fine for us. General review: Easy to park nearby. Cosy room. We had a very enjoyable stay, the pub is excellent and in the morning our host was fantastic. She sorted us out with breakfast before the baptism despite the fact that we were running late. Excellent! Thanks very much!
