Very laid back "chilling" enviroment. Room comfortable and spaceous with widescreen TV and large sofa and coffee table (It was the luxury room) Food in restaurant very good and remarkably cheap. Other interesting looking places to drink and eat 400 yards walk away.

Highly recommended:-) My finacee and I stopped here New Years Eve 2006, we paid an extra £15.00 for an evening buffet with live entertainment. The buffet was an understatement, it was a three course meal with a choise of 3 main courses at least of excellent quality; the service, exremely friendly; the deluxe room, spacious, clean, the bed very comfortable in deed; it definately lives up to to its four star rating. Too close to Mason Mills Designer Outlet though, Leo nearly bought all their stock! A definate in our book, already recommended to friends and family. Thank you to All at Alison House, the best New Year we've had in the five years we've been together. Richard and Leo
