Tilgate Park is beautiful. Since I was a child, I have constantly visited and appreciated how lucky we are to have such beauty on our door step. In the sunshine, it's alive with families and brightly coloured picnic rugs, footballs and rounders games. In the misty autumn mornings there are runners and dog walkers circling the lake, greeting each other as they pass. This is the very best side of Crawley. Park nearby, walk to the park and it's a lovely free day out.
