always find it hard to get an appointment when i need one one doctor anwered his mobile phone when he was feeling my tummy and was realy rude as are some of the receptions if i could find another medical centre i would move

rude receptionists who were very unhelpful when i moved into this area and asked to register with this surgery. i got told "dont assume we have registered you because you have completed this for, we will let you know and you canot see a GP until you recieve your confirmation, if we accept you". So i renew my prescription with my last GP surgery. Four weeks pass until i recieve my confirmation, I phoned to get an appt, get told " we have no appts this week, next week, nothing i can do, you will need to call each day for cancellations" to which i respond i have 2 weeks left of my medication and i need it to live " ive already told you, i ave no appts left, nothing i can do, goodbye " I am a healthcare provider and i am shocked at how rude some people are, cant get an appt, old GP cant despense as my notes are in transit now. Do not register here, i would reregister elsewhere but i have only 2 weeks to find out if i can get a repeat prescription.Appaling attitudes of reception staff

i have never had a problem with this surgery and we always get an appointment quickly they r all lovely

Completely agree with Sarah - Doctors and nurses good but reception staff use "bullying" tactics with those patients least able to stand up to them,
