Excellent meal. We are from Washington, DC and stopped in North Berwick on our first day in Scotland (after visiting Dirleton and Tantallon Castles). We needed a place to eat and asked 2 locals at one of the Castles for a recommendation. They agreed on The Grange and gave us directions. We were extremely pleased. I had the steak and my wife had salmon. The meals were £16 to £21 and included appetizer and dessert. The waitress and owner (actually, the owner's father) were most friendly and attentive. While we had arrived early to a near empty restaurant, it was entirely full before we left - a testament to it's local appeal.
