Does the previous reviewer realise that the fares are set by the New Forest District Council and that after 11pm the rate changes to a higher one.I must assume that as he was travelling after midnight that he was over the drink drive limit and therefore £40 was cheaper than loosing his driving licence.He could have asked for an approx. fare before the journey and if not satisfied WALK

This is a great company, it offers an extremely efficiant service, with friendly staff. All the cars are fantastic unlike some of the shabby rival companys. I use this company 3-4 times per week and have never been messed around or over charged.

i would like to write a small note thankin totton and waterside cab co for at least 15 years friendly and reliable service i have used them in good times and bad and they have always been very helpful and sensitive .I have been in the position that i have used other local firms i.e when friends have booked other taxi firms and have been quite shocked at their think of a price and charge it attitude and on numerous occaisions have been more expensive than t&w cab co at least when you use t&w cabs you have a meter right in front of you so you know what you have to pay and when you phone for a price before you travel they will try and give you an idea so at least you have the option to say no .Thankyou once again to totton and waterside cab co and hope to be able to keep using you now and a lot longer into the future

BEWARE This cab company charged us a fare of over £50.00 to travel just 12 miles. Admittedely it was after midnight on a Saturday night but this is pure extortion. There are much cheaper cab companies in the Southampton area and we will NEVER use this company again as we have never paid so much for a cab fare ever!
