Really enjoyed this hotel from the moment I booked. Totally geared up to business traveller - good desk, free internet, sky sports in room and very good room service (best cheeseburger I have ever had). Used gym in morning but no time for pool which was very large for hotel. Definately stay when in area again and may even return with my girlfriend as spa looked great too.

On 16th May, 2007 my son told me that he was going to get married on Friday 18th! With such short notice we could not make many plans. We telephoned Fairlawns which has always been a favourite of ours for many years. Fortunately, they were able to organise a wedding "do" for 45 people for us with 48hours notice. We had an absolutely wonderful day. Right from the bucks fiz on arrival to the finish. Neil and his staff were superb. Congratulations to John Petit. His "hands on" approach definitely works. I stayed at this hotel while attending a meeting organised by my company. It was a really pleasant surprise to be somewhere where conference delegates were trated as individuals. I have special dietary requirements and these were looked after with no fus. The room was lovely with a fantastic new tv and over 40 channels. Most of my colleagues used the gym and the pool and commented on the fantastic steam rooms and showers which I think were new as a Spa is being built. I enjoyed it so much and found tge staff so friendly I think I will return with my partner for a Spa break in 2007.

I really enjoyed my stay. The staff were friendly and the restaurant served excellent food. The swimming pool is one of the best I have ever seen in a hotel and I was pleased to be have broadband access in my bedroom. The map on their website was good and I would definately stay again.

This is a really nice hotel. I am a lady who travels on my own so was pleased to find it on your website. The staff are really nice, I was given a room close to Reception, was pleased to find high speed internet access and room sevice was lovely. The following morning I swam in one of the largest swimming pools I have seen in a hotel and will definately return. Better than many 4 stars in which I have stayed too!
