On the plus side the rest of the staff are charming and friendly but this does not make up for the fact that the food is bland and unimaginative and the atmosphere is stale and slightly depressing - but again this is mainly down the landlord's unfriendly attitude! Shame as the pub itself looks so promising from the outside.

Really good food, sensible portions at affordable prices. Good friendly service in 16th century pub.

had lunch for two here, two courses plus wine and water for £24.00. Sevice was a bit slow but the food was worth the wait. Really exellent Italian
food at a bargain price. We will definatly go back.
