Good Points: The rooms was spotlessly clean, very tastfully decorated, staff very friendly always had a friendly smile for you if asked for anything they did it straight away Bad Points: Only perculated coffee, no mugs General review: Lovely hotel, really enjoyed our stay which was excellent

functional hotel in an olde world setting. Nothing special to be honest but staff were pleasant enough, breakfast ok, room ok - slap bang in the middle of the town (high st quiet and not a hoodie or binge drinker in sight!). 7/10

I dont know where to start - constant problems!! "Loosing" our registration when I called to confirm before arrival and then again when we arrived, trying to overcharge us both on check in, and check out (the receptionist threatened not to let us leave until another £40 had been paid!) and being extremely rude when we tried (very reasonably!) to explain and sort it out!! Mistakes are fine - everyone is human but rudeness really isnt on, especially for £90 a night. Seconding others reviews that the food was pretty bad really and very overpriced for what it was but Dorking is very pretty. Would recomend staying elsewhere to be honest!!
