Crowded, characterful, friendly and enticingly mysterious" What a characterful venue is The Hourglass Bar & Restaurant, a short walk from Exeter city centre? An atmosphere that seems to be continuing unrefined since the 18th Century, is enlivened with a crush of people of all ages and genders, absolutely reeking of good fellowship and a cacophony of lively craic, laced with gales of laughter. The aroma of delicious freshly cooked food, came wafting under our noses every other minute as the staff dash about delivering loaded platters. A lively place. Art4Artsache
