Yesterday, I stupidly left my handbag hanging from the hook on my trolley - parked the trolley - and headed off home. After a short distance I realised what I had done and frantically drove back to the store to find that the boy collecting the trolleys had found my bag and handed it in to customer services. You can imagine my relief and how grateful I was to this young boy.
I was advised by customer services that the boys name could not be given as they were expected to do this as part of their job. We are quick to condemn the youth of today but I would like to say a big thank you to the boy for his honesty and for saving me the trouble of having to cancel all my cards, etc. etc. Everything in my bag was as I left it.
