We felt we just had to drop you a line, what a wonderful place, never before have we enjoyed ourselves so much at a hotel, admittedly we were lucky with the weather but we had three lovely days at Shelleys. We were so impressed with the comfort and the décor of the rooms and their attention to detail, something we rarely experience in a hotel. The location of the hotel itself made for a very relaxing experience and we loved it and the breakfasts! From the moment we walked through the door it was obvious that Shelleyâ€ss has managed to achieve a special atmosphere, one in which their guests instantly feel welcome and relaxed, It is lovely, Jane and Richard just let you come and go in a very informal way, help yourself at the honestyâ€s bar, but they are always on hand if you need any help. Shelley's is tasteful and stylish without a hint of pretension. We have already given out our spare brochures to friends and relatives and have recommended Shelleyâ€ss as the perfect place to chill out Coming back to the reality of everyday life this week has been an enormous shock, as we are forced to fend for ourselves again. We shall certainly be visiting again, we plan to return to Shelley's in the Autumn.
