Reviews of Fox Inn, Bridgnorth

Best rates for a Local Hotel

Wish I had read the last review and not gone to this hotel. The manager has to run out for food from the local supermarket while you're waiting in the restaurant... and a bar with no gin. But hang on a minute he can just pop out and get some while you wait! And breakfast- day one we were lucky but day two no one there and the place in darkness. Left after 2 days of a 3 day stay. At least Basil Fawlty has gin in!!

. No tea and coffee facilities as advertised because nobody had bothered to put cups in room. Asked for breakfast at a specific time 8.30 and on both mornings only to find deserted restaurant. Customer service very poor. Do yourself a favour stay somewhere else.

We had a truly wonderful time here! Absolutely gorgeous food - you must try the fishcakes - an impressive and immaculately kept room, wonderful atmosphere, friendly and accommodating host... the Fox Inn was the high point of our trip to the area. The new manager as of late 2007, Clive, deserves a lot of credit.
