Never been here before but our friends have we thought we would suprise them with our touring caravan, Colin the owner helped us suprise our friends he booked a pitch next to them but in another name so they wouldnt know he was really helpfull. What a lovely site views all round camp and toilets spotless enough room between pitches also and theres a book stall just put 50pence in a charity box. We will be going back to this lovely site again and a big thanks to Colin for helping us with our suprise to our friends.

Please don't visit Colin at his site, too many visitors will mean we can't get on the site and we'll miss the friendly welcome, the well kept site and the spotless shower / toilet block. We'd also miss the lovely views of the countryside surrounding the site and country walks from the site. The thought of not being able to visit the great pubs in the town and surrounding villages selling lots and lots of real ale and good food is just too much to take. So please don't visit New House, you might enjoy it too much!! If you do visit the site - KEEP IT SECRET!

We have stayed at this site many times & always enjoy it very much. Its a quiet, clean, happy site. Always made to feel very welcome & Colin is always happy to help. Toilets are very clean. Lovely views very close to Cumbria & Yorkshire. Pub close to the site where you can have a quiet drink and a nice meal. Overall a nice family run site.

having stayed on many UK sites Kathleen & I think that colin & his father before him provide one of the cleanest, friendliest sites possible. It has become our favoured site for many reasons. We look forward to many happy years visiting Colin and enjoying the fruits of his labours. He really is very professional, yet so friendly. Thanks to Colin and his family.
