What a mess that place is in, i stayed a couple of months ago... It was ok at the time nothing special. Now on my return visit, i was greeted by the general manager who grunted groaned, was wearing a pullover with kittens on it I was deeply upset on my last visit by everything in my experience. this hotel needs a big shake up of management there... Come on Dorchester, get it sorted!!!

The hotel was friendly. There appeared to be a shortage of staff, eg the receptionist had to get our breakfast one morning. The rooms were not particularly well cleaned and I felt that staff were not well managed and supervised. I think that based on my experience of staying in hotels that the Dorchester needs a good 'shake up'. In our room the washbasin was cracked and I did not, unfortunately, gain the impression of an efficiently run and managed hotel. Though in general people were friendly.
