We had been planning to get married here. After some time of being spoken to rudely by staff, making our way to reception to see the maintenance man in charge of reception and not being allowed to view the rooms unless we were there at 12pm on a Monday or Friday we decided to cancel our booking. The staff are very rude on the phone and not much better when you meet them face to face. They seem to only be inclined to assist you when you've got to the end of your tether, which for us was way too late. The house itself is beautiful but the other parts of this set up are poor, very poor. As an additional comment if you wish to have a wedding team that's impartial (i.e. not affiliated with the place) don't come here, or indeed one that doesn't think bright green velvet is a nice covering for a bar area and one that doesn't produce sloppy word document itineries don't come here.
