We have just had our daughter's wedding, ceremony and reception, at the Rosslea, plus many guests stayed at the hotel. Totally excellent all round, from planning to setting up to the party nothing was too much trouble. The conservatory is a brilliant venue for a ceremony, lots of space for a proper aisle and red carpet, with over 50 guests seated and musician at top end, opening out to terrace and gardens for fabulous photos, lovely private bar and seating area for canapes and champagne, great setting for the reception, really fantastic food from the chef, cannot recommend highly enough! All those who stayed also very happy with the hotel.

Good Points: peace and quiet, comfort, adjacent to route. Bar meals available and good. Bad Points: We would perhaps have liked help with our luggage as we were on the top floor and there was no lift. General review: All information I needed was available. The number and type of rooms etc. If any one of us had been disabled, perhaps it would be useful to know that there is no lift, and to have known which floor we were to be on. (I'd have put our young fit sons on the top floor!!)

Good Points: The hotel had a very comfortable and friendly atmosphere, it had recently been refurbished to a very high standard, the decor throughout the hotel had obviosly been thought about to the very last detail! General review: Myself and my partner were both very impressed by the hotel. The staff were helpful and friendly, nothing seemed to be too much trouble for them! Everything about our stay was perfect. The recent refurbishment has given the hotel a stlish lift without being too modern. The food was excellent and not too expensive! Overall we had a lovely weekend that was incredibly good value for money!
