This site is set in beautiful surroundings and is used primarily for statics and lodges with touring caravans and tents. The site staff are wonderful and helpful but the site toilet block and facilities are woefully inadequate for the numbers accomodated by the site. The numbers stated as being accomodated seem to bear little resemblance to the numbers actually on site and the two showers and three toilets in the male toilet facilities and totally inadequate. The female side was equally badly served with 6 toilets and two showers, obviously the ladies need toilet cubicles whereas the gents have urinals. The staff attempt to keep the facilities clean but with the usual rush at early mornings and evenings,it often results in long queues forming for all the facilities and consequently lots of complaints from the visitors. The site owner appears to be disinterested in the needs of his tourer guests and does not even respond to emails when contacted on this matter. As a tourer the minimum one would expect would be fresh water, waste water disposal points,a reasonably level pitch and of course decent toilet blocks. This site has lovely views but very disappointing toilet blocks although the rest of the needs are adequately catered for. E.Ridsdale
