Good Points: The hotel was lovely and the room was very clean and homely. The staff were all very pleasant and fiendly and there was lots of choice for a lovely breakfast. General review: The hotel was easy to find in a central location within walking distance to the centre of Ballater. The hotel was renovated to a high standard and had a lovely seating / bar area. Our bedroom was very clean and had everything that you may need avaialble - tea/coffee making facilities, bottled water, hair-dryer and iron/ironing board. The bed was also very comfortable. There was a good choice available for breakfast but unfortunately due to the nature of our visit we did not have the opportunity to have dinner in the restaurant. We would recommend this hotel and hope to return for a further weekend break in the future.

Just at the end of our road so brilliantly convenient. We had the most fabulous meal, the venison is to die for!!! Excellent and friendly service. Looking forward to next visit.
