Good Points: The staff were very welcoming, and very helpful with things like carrying bags. The food was good, and the room was kept clean and tidy. Bad Points: The problem was that the administration was dire. General review: We had a good time in Richmond. I would certainly stay at the hotel again, but probably only if I was on my own: the lack of subtitles is too frustrating for a deaf person. What worries me is this: I'm no lawyer, but as I understand it, you are expected to provide reasonable facilities for disabled people. While the building is cearly unsuitable for people with restricted mobiity, and there isn't much you can do about this without completely rebuilding it, something as simple as subtitles, which any of us can have in our own homes, should not be beyond you. Furthermore, if you are not keeping the law in this respect, how can we trust you to keep it in other areas, such as food safety?

Good Points: this was an overnight stay to break a journey, it was only meant to be a refresher, a bed for the night and a shower, meal etc. It turned out to be a very pleasant experience, the staff were friendly, the place was clean, overall, excellent Bad Points: The only down point was that we were unable to get the tv to work, we told the receptionist on departure and she informed us there would be a switch beside the bed to activate the tv, had we of reported it, she would of personally called to the room, our own fault really for not doing so. She was more than helpful. General review: Excellent, great food, breakfast was fabulous, I ate at the local Indian but my mother said the bar meal was good. I will probably stay with you again if im in Yorkshire.
