I have returned to live in Mansfield. I have been very impressed by what the town has to offer. The shopping centre is a perfect size with a great range of shops and a variety of market days.
There are many innovations in the town such as entertainment for children and a fascinating museum which I think has won many awards.There are many sporting clubs and a very active theatre.
My local park has amazing facilities that I enjoy using every day.
Come to Mansfield ....it will be worth it!!!!!!

I left Mansfield over 11 years ago and have been back many times. I have seen the town centre change for the worse with shops closing and a no longer bustling market. There were only a handful of stalls left and the market place looked very empty. If I didn't want to visit family and friends I can honestly say I would not go back at all.

EVEN THOUGH THEY GAVE GOOD RESULTS SAYING A HISTORIC MARKET TOWN I FOuND MANSFIELD TO BE LACKING IN MARKET STALLS ABOUT 50 IF NOT LESS. THE CAR PARK PRICES ARE STUPID @.70 TO 1.00 AN HOUR IF YOU CAN GET A SPACE. THE CONCIL HAS TAKEN ALL THE CAR PARK SPACES AWAY AND WHAT IS LEFT IS TAKEN BY THE STORE WORKERS . TO BE HONEST I LIVED ALL MY LIFE IN MANSFIELD BUT HAVE TO ADMIT THAT CHESTERFIELD IS A BETTER MARKET AND SHOPPING CENTRE.
