Carding Mill Valley, Shropshire

Carding Mill Valley is an area of heathland spanning approximately 2000 hectares of countryside in Shropshire, England. It has been in the care of by The National Trust since 1965 and also sits in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB). Paths into the valley that gives access onto the Long Mynd , the old Church Stretton reservoir and the beautiful Lightspout Waterfall. Whilst it is best known for its expanse of hiking trails, it is also home to the quaint town of Church Stretton . Named Little Switzerland for its hillside hugging houses and a reputation for running like clockwork, it has been settled since the Iron Age .
