Located in South East Cornwall, Rames Peninsula,‘The Forgotten Corner’, is a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) just across the border from
Devon in England. It is home to the villages of Kingsand and
Cawsand , twinned with Porspoder in North Western France. Both historic fishing villages, set in a picturesque conservation area, are frequent winners of the Best Kept Village award. Rame Peninsula also features the
Mount Edgecumbe Country Park . With history stretching back to 1200 BC, it was the setting off point for
HMS Beagle's voyage with Charles Darwin. It is also home to wild deer and Redwood trees.
