for Royal Windsor Horse Show as your favourite British event.

The British summer country show season kicks off every year with the Royal Windsor Horse Show, Berkshire which takes place in May.

The five day equine extravaganza is held in the spectacular grounds of Windsor Castle - the only time of the year that the castle grounds are open to the public. As well as celebrating all things equestrian, there's always a feast of rural activities for all ages to get involved and over 200 shops, selling a range of goods that cannot be found on the high street.

What's more, the opening day of the show, dubbed 'Windsor Wednesday' is completely free to all visitors!

The Royal Family hold great affection for the event - HM The Queen is Patron of the Show and has attended every single year since it began in 1943. She often has a number of horses and ponies competing at the show.

All tickets can be purchased on www.rwhs.co.uk or telephone the box office on 0844 581 4960 from the UK and +44 (0) 121 767 4660 internationally.
Tickets can also be purchased locally over the counter from Royal Windsor Information Centre, tel: 01753 743589 or online at http://tickets.windsor.gov.uk.
