for Edgcote Tournament as your favourite British event.

Englands largest medieval tournament - two days of fun, pageantry and adrenaline. A real, un-choreographed, full-contact jousting competition, with 15th Century rules and risks, equipment and weapons, over 20 fully armoured knights on magnificent mounts, a celebration of the medieval horse. Foot combat, skill-at arms, archery competition. Re-enactment of the Battle of Edgcote on the original battle site. Huge Living History Encampment. Fantastic live music, street theatre, jugglers, fire-eaters, great food, beer tent, Medieval market (15th century retail therapy), Medieval medicine, ducking stool (bring your own crone) have-a-go archery, damsels in distress (and several not in distress), at least one dragon and a wealth of activities for adults and children.
