Hear the blood-curdling techniques of a medieval barber surgeon,
surrounded by the tools of his trade. Learn about the Black Death and how
the wounds of battle were treated, with arrow extraction and amputation.
Discover how teeth were pulled, bones were set and blood was let. Dare you
come face to face with a real life leech?
Children can also explore Oxford Castle Unlocked with our Summer Trail and
take part in art activities.
