for Grade Ruan Vintage Rally as your favourite British event.

The Rally was originally started to help finance the bowling club in Ruan Minor and then went on to resurrect the finances of the recreation ground. The Rally has been going since 1986 and has grown steadily over the years. Ten years ago when the gate hit the 2000 mark it was decided to move to a larger field just outside Ruan Minor at Trevedden Farm. Profits now go to the Cottage Hospital at Helston, to Cornwall Air Ambulance and St John‚s Ambulance.

The Rally itself is part rally, part village show. The Rally is; of course; based on the growing interest in vintage and steam vehicles, farm machinery heavy horses and stationary and marine engines. We also try to provide a variety of entertainment for all the family including craft and art work and models. Do not miss the very good raffle. Free parking is provided just across the road; disabled people please ask at the gate to take your car into the field.

There is a catering marquee and bar with music by „The Cober Valley Accordion Band and the famous „Rough Jazz. There will be Roskilly's Ice Cream, and several other children‚s activities including a bouncy castle, swing boats, face painting etc. and we try to get rural activities in the ring to amuse the grown-ups. Dog owners can enter their pet and maybe win a prize in the Dog Show.
