for Cornwall Walk as your favourite British event.

The event in aid of Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) raises funds to find the cure for type 1 diabetes and its complications through research.
This fantastic new location means that walkers will be able to enjoy the usual Walk experience, but now in the beautiful surroundings of the Eden Project including the Rainforest and Mediterranean Biomes. In addition, all walkers will have the opportunity to enjoy all the facilities that the Eden Project has to offer following the Walk.

The Walk is a fun way for families, friends and workmates to get involved and make a difference to the lives of over 350,000 people in the UK, of which 25,000 are children who have type 1 diabetes. After a brief warm up, the five kilometre Walk will begin. The route will work its way through indoor and outdoor areas of the garden and will be appropriate for small legs and those with prams. There will be music, stalls and entertainment on the day, with refreshments available from the Eden Project facilities. All in all, it is a fantastic fun day out for all the family!

The success of the Walk to Cure Diabetes is down to communities joining together to make a difference. Whether you are an individual, part of a family, a pupil at a school , or an employee or employer, everyone can join in and Walk to Cure Diabetes.
