for Taste Cumbria Christmas Fayre as your favourite British event.

Showcasing some of Cumbria's finest culinary produce, cookery demonstrations and tastings, along with a side helping of live music, free children's crafts, walkabout entertainers, husky sled dogs, and of course, Santa's Grotto.

Everyone's taste will be catered for, with a Courtyard festive market including artisan cheese makers, Christmas puddings, smoked foods, chocolate and cakes. There will also be a food court with a wide variety of mouth-watering produce.

There is local arts and crafts including jewellery, wood carving demonstrations and gifts.

The Castle and gardens will be open as normal during the Fayre. As darkness falls the Darkest Muncaster Illuminations will light up the gardens, with a themed sound and light show on the Castle transforming the gardens to a winter wonderland.
