Hornsea is an attractive seaside town in Yorkshire, with narrow streets and a jumble of old cottages dating back to the 15th Century, home to just over eight thousand people. A walk along the promenade will blow away the cobwebs, or if sea views, and sandy beaches are not enough, there's always the Amusements on offer, or walkers can enjoy The Trans Pennine Trail which ends on the seafront. Hornsea has an intriguing history from Smugglers to the 12th Century church of St Nicholas, or step inside the Folk Museum which has fascinating exhibits and the largest collection of Hornsea Pottery proudly on display. For a chance of being skipper set sail on the largest lake in Yorkshire, Hornsea Mere, there's pleasure cruises and row boats on offer, or dangle a line and see what bites. If shopping is yearned for there's the Market, or possibly the designer Outlets, Play Area, and even a Model Village will be one temptation too many at Freeport. Honeysuckle Farm is where younger visitors can enjoy seeing the cows being milked, and ice cream being made, and if more animals are wished for then Cruckley Animal Farm has Rabbits, Cows, Chickens, Peacocks and Miniature Donkeys waiting for a close encounter.
