Ottershaw is a village in the leafy County Of Surrey that’s home to 3687 people. There are many interesting places to see close by, the hardest decision is which to see first, perhaps it’s the thrill and excitement on offer at Brooklands Museum, where the fascinating story of Aircraft and Motor Racing are expertly told through it’s exhibits of 30 Aircraft including Concorde, through to evocative Racing Cars and Motorcycles in Malcolm Campbell’s Workshop. Complete with an Edwardian Club House, with brilliant period room settings waiting to be enjoyed. Or perhaps peace and tranquillity mixed with beauty is more for you, then the RHS Garden at Wisley has formal and decorative gardens that wont fail to please, or there is always Virginia Water Lake where delightful woodland and grounds are home to the spectacular Lake, Waterfall and 100’ Totem Pole. If all of this sounds a little too quiet then a visit to Thorpe Park will fix it, with toe curling rides that steal your breath such as Stealth, Colossus and Nemesis Inferno, and for younger visitors there is Fantasy Fish and Olli Octopus. Or perhaps the thought of 35 million bricks depicting scenes from Europe will tempt a visit to Legoland, where live shows and exciting rides are just some of the wonders on offer.
