Moulsoe is a pretty village set within the ancient county of Buckinghamshire, and is home to just over three hundred people. This charming location nestling on the border of Bedfordshire has an interesting mix of architecture from attractive thatched cottages and houses which date as far back as the 16th and 17th Centuries, imposing Victorian houses and buildings, and modern structures. The oldest building within the village is the ancient church which is dedicated to St Mary's which sits on a hill, it was built in the 12th Century and has undergone many later additions, the location was once the site where the Anglo Saxon Leaders of the Hundred met, today's visitors will discover fine stained glass windows and the impressive brass figures of a Lady, and her Knight from Medieval times. A walk around the village will uncover an attractive 19th Century Inn which continues to offer a warm welcome to travellers with a tempting menu and comfortable rooms on offer, there's also a good choice of cottages, and B&B's nearby for those who wish to stay for a while, and, as Moulsoe is only a short distance from the hustle and bustle of Newport Pagnell, and the busy city of Milton Keynes with its theatres, shops, and bars it is perfectly placed.
