Little Brickhill is a village in the south-east corner of the Milton Keynes Borough, near the Roman road Watling Street, now the A5, and just 2 miles from the railway station in Fenny-Stratford. The village is 10 minutes from the Milton Keynes centre (much shopping, multi-screen cinemas, snow-ski slope, a large theatre, etc) and just 1 km from Woburn Golf Course, with 2 18-hole courses and 2 restaurants. This is a very historical place, appearing in the Doomsday Book of 1086, the church of St Mary Magdalene dates from the 12th century and it was an Assize town (held criminal courts) until 1638. In the 17th century the geographical positioning meant the village supported several inns for passing coaches. Quietness returned here in 1992 with a bypass and Little Brickhill is now a Conservation Area, though this tiny village still retains a variety of amenities. There are 2 award-winning pub/restaurants – The Olde Green Man (opposite the church and offering accommodation too) and The George. There is also a B&B – The White House.
