Keswick, a Victorian market town in the heart of the Lake District is dramatically situated between the foot of Skiddaw and the shores of Derwentwater. Whatever you're looking for - history, culture, scenery, activity or just relaxing Keswick has something for everyone. Keswick's largely traffic free town centre has a wide array of specialist shops and galleries and a bustling local market held every Saturday. Take time to stroll though the beautiful parks down to the boat landings on Derwentwater. When you are ready for a rest there are excellent tearooms and cafes. In the evening you will find no shortage of restaurants, cafes and pubs. For those in search of culture the Theatre by the Lake offers music, theatre, dance and much more.

Many people come to Keswick especially for the wide ranging outdoor activities such as walking, cycling, canoeing, climbing and paragliding to name but a few. Keswick plays host to a variety of events and festivals throughout the year. Keswick and the Northern Lakes area offer traditional hospitality with a range of accommodation to suit all ages and pockets. We look forward to welcoming soon in Keswick. Population 5,000
