Andrew Strauss
Love it or loathe it you will be hearing rather a lot more than usual about Cricket over the coming weeks - Yes, the Ashes are here. And in Strauss (English Mum so definitely british in our book) we have the quiet unassuming captain this delicate games deserves. Appointed almost by default Strauss has carried himself well in the role thus far and with a test average of 43 he will have an important run getting role too. God willing we will enjoy watching the Man with the Urn in 6 weeks time
